The Porcupine Freedom Festival, commonly known as PorcFest, is the Free State Project’s flagship annual summer gathering. This year’s PorcFest 10th Anniversary celebration will be held in Lancaster, NH, from June 17 - 23, 2013.

On Friday, June 21, Lew Rockwell will deliver a one-hour keynote entitled Our Job as Libertarians. This will be his first PorcFest speaking engagement.

“I am very excited to be part of Porcfest,” Rockwell notes. “It is one of the great libertarian events, and it's in my favorite state.”

With "liberty this" and "liberty that" plastered everywhere on the backdrop behind the speakers, I wonder how much they really know about liberty and freedom. Speakers like Newt Gingrich, Gary Bauer, Sean Hannity, and Mike Huckabee don't want change like Obama...they want to "change it back" in November...

An insurance worker who paid £10 to park in Wimbledon was given a £60 fine after her ticket ‘curled up’ on her window. After returning within her paid for time, she was "horrified" to discover a parking ticket for £60 citing a ‘failure to correctly display ticket’. "I can only assume, due to the absolute torrential rain on that morning, the ticket got wet in the walk from the ticket machine to my car and the heat of the car then made the ticket curl over."

A bill has been introduced by the Illinois House of Representatives that will affect the way Hog Rock (aka Hatchet Landings) does business and holds events (including The Gathering of the Juggalos). If passed, a tax will be put on every ticket sold. This could jeopardize future events here.

My show is for MOMS! Who says women don't listen to talk radio. I think they just need something they think is worth listening to! As a mom I will host it and present a topic. For example - preschool. When should a child start preschool? Is one year old too young? Is four years old too late? Do kids need preschool at all? Is it all too serious these days? Are all preschools the same? When did you (as a mom) start preschool? Moms can call in and make comments. All comments are welcome. It is an open forum!
