All this time, I really thought citizens were victims, held against their will and robbed, by a government that is thriving at their expense. This is, of course, true; but, there’s something I realized. People really aren’t sheep. The citizens aren’t innocent little lambs being fed to the machine. The vast majority of people simply abrogate the responsibility of their lives willingly.
