Mike, a 17 year old Junior at West High School in Manchester, NH, recently discovered CopBlock.org. Yesterday, while coming into the high school cafeteria, Mike noticed his friend was being questioned by the school police officer – Det. Murphy – and decides to film. He caught the use of excessive force.

A student is questioning whether his faith or his fashion is under fire at his high school in Loveland. Thompson Valley High School officials have confiscated his rosary beads twice since school started three weeks ago.

And he says they never told him, or his family, why.

Claremont High School, in Claremont NH, had every student leave their belongings in the hallway while a drug dog came through and searched the whole school. Some parents were glad for the search, while others were pissed. Some parents are now trying to push a lawsuit over the unwarrented search.

If a high school student goes to administrators to report that she and another teenage girl were raped by a boy at the school, you might think that the immediate course of action would be to keep the survivors safe while investigating the allegations. But a student at Upper St. Claire High School is suing her school district for using her as bait, which resulted in her being raped a second time.

A Chardon High School student wounded in Monday's early morning shooting has been declared brain-dead. Russell King Jr., 17, was a junior who studied technologies for alternative energies. Wrong on several levels, it is humiliating, and it was organized by Rosemount High School administrators. And, yes, it took place in view of the children at the school, because it was during an assembly. The students were blindfolded, and then told that “someone” was going to kiss them. The “someone” was their own parents.
What is it with public (read: GOVERNMENT) schools lately? Are they trying to screw up our kids?

A Cincinnati high school is paying its students to come to school.

The Dohn Community High School has launched a $40,000 incentive program to get students to come to class.

The school’s CEO Ken Furrier told CBS Cleveland that students will get Visa gift cards for showing up every day for school, being on time for class and not getting into trouble. Seniors would get $25 while underclassmen would get $10.

Skylar Torbett, also a junior, said administrators told him, "The candy canes could be used as weapons by sucking on them and making them have sharp points."
