This type of thing is happening so frequently I wonder if/worry that they'll stop getting coverage at all. That certainly seems to be the case in the mainstream media, where coverage of this incident was sparse.

That rate is over two times the rate of the general public (28.7 per 100,000). The fact that rapists seem to be concentrated among a group of armed individuals who have the purported authority to detain and arrest other individuals, should be more than a little alarming for even the most prolific bootlicker.

A woman is suing Christchurch police for $150,000 after an officer allegedly used boltcutters to remove her piercings. Lawyer Tony Greig said the woman, believed to be in her thirties, was arrested for obstruction in mid-2008. Greig said the woman alleged five of her piercings, including one in her genital area, were removed using boltcutters after she was taken into custody. The woman was acquitted of the obstruction charge in early 2009.

Los Angeles (CNN) -- A police officer in Los Angeles who claimed he was shot while patrolling near a high school has now been arrested for making up the story, authorities said.
Officer Jeff Stenroos of the Los Angeles Unified School District Police Department had said he was shot in the chest on January 19 in the west San Fernando Valley. He said the shooting happened when he got out of his squad car to check on a man peering into parked vehicles near the El Camino High School.

The Monterey County coroner tells the Salinas Californian that 31-year-old Rogelio Serrato was the victim of a fire started Wednesday by a diversionary flash grenade used by police.

Ohio police use Tazer seven times on driver in diabetic shock, dislocate his shoulder! According to the Cincinnatti Enquirer, motorist John Harmon was on his way home from work when his blood-sugar got too low. As a diabetic, this meant trouble, and Harmon's vehicle veered into another lane. A nearby Hamilton, Ohio sheriff's deputy spotted the unintentional maneuver and pulled him over. The officer then approached the car with his gun drawn and screamed at Harmon before smashing his window open. Harmon, 52, was then cut out of his seatbelt and dragged him to the ground.
