In a disastrous move that many will probably view as Holocaust denial, Culpeper County Public Schools pulled Anne Frank's diary from the curriculum and from the shelves, because the book contained references to sexuality. School districts continually prove that they are more worried about political correctness (which most of the time is bigotry in disguise anyway) and appeasing often only one critical parent than about educating children. Common sense does not seem to apply these days when it comes to evaluating the historical and social values of various pieces of literature.

A US judge has granted political asylum to a German family who said they had fled the country to avoid persecution for home schooling their children.
In the first reported case of its kind, Tennessee immigration judge Lawrence Burman ruled that the family of seven have a legitimate fear of prosecution for their beliefs. SELLS, Ariz. — An eerie hush settles in at sundown on the Tohono O’odham Nation, which straddles 75 miles of border with Mexico.
