School district pulls Anne Frank’s diary over ‘vagina’ passage

http://rawstory.com

In a disastrous move that many will probably view as Holocaust denial, Culpeper County Public Schools pulled Anne Frank's diary from the curriculum and from the shelves, because the book contained references to sexuality. School districts continually prove that they are more worried about political correctness (which most of the time is bigotry in disguise anyway) and appeasing often only one critical parent than about educating children. Common sense does not seem to apply these days when it comes to evaluating the historical and social values of various pieces of literature.

In the tense new world of air travel, we're stripped of shoes, told not to take too much shampoo on board, frowned on if we crack a smile.

US grants home schooling German family political asylum

http://www.guardian.co.uk

A US judge has granted political asylum to a German family who said they had fled the country to avoid persecution for home schooling their children.

In the first reported case of its kind, Tennessee immigration judge Lawrence Burman ruled that the family of seven have a legitimate fear of prosecution for their beliefs. Ron Paul-There has been a military-CIA coup

http://www.youtube.com

Excerpt from the Campaign for Liberty Regional Conference in Atlanta, GA. As the crowd begins to cheer, Ron Paul states, "We need to take out the CIA!"

There's been a coup - have you heard? It's the CIA coup. The CIA runs everything! They run the military .. and they're every bit as secretive as the Federal Reserve. And yet, think of the harm they have done since they were established at the end of World War II. They are a government unto themselves. They're in businesses, in drug businesses, they take out dictators... We need to take out the CIA!

Thousands of Indian victims of the drug war

http://www.heraldtribune.com

SELLS, Ariz. — An eerie hush settles in at sundown on the Tohono O’odham Nation, which straddles 75 miles of border with Mexico.

The roads crawl with the trucks of Border Patrol agents, who stop unfamiliar vehicles, scrutinize back roads for footprints and hike into the desert wilds to intercept smugglers carrying marijuana on their backs and droves of migrants trying to make it north.

By the bad luck of geography, the only large Indian reservation on the embattled border is caught in the middle, emerging as a major transit point for drugs as well as people.
