UK Men Get Four Year Prison Sentences For "inciting riots" on Facebook

Judge Elgan Edwards QC of Chester Crown Court sentenced 20-year-old Jordan Blackshaw and 22-year-old Perry Sutcliffe-Keenan this week to four years in prison for their failed attempts to use Facebook to incite riots in the UK. The judge said he hoped the sentences would act as a deterrent.

Jurors to be told not to tweet under new law

New federal license law could kill the family farm

The new law would require anyone who drives a tractor to get a Commercial Drivers License. If a CDL was required the cost for food will increase dramatically. During times such as harvest farmers need to work long hours to get crops harvested before they spoil in the fields. Swedish man caught trying to split atoms at home

A Swedish man who was arrested after trying to split atoms in his kitchen said Wednesday he was only doing it as a hobby. The 31-year-old Handl said he had tried for months to set up a nuclear reactor at home and kept a blog about his experiments, describing how he created a small meltdown on his stove. Woman Going to Court for Plastic Testicles on Bumper

A South Carolina woman is heading to court for a jury trial over a ticket she was given by police for displaying big, plastic testicles on the back of her pickup truck. Virginia Tice was reportedly given a $445 ticket July 5 that claims she violated the state's obscene bumper sticker law. She was ticketed after pulling into a gas station in her truck with big red fake testicles hanging from the trailer hitch. Police Chief Franco Fuda asked for a jury trial, saying questions of obscenity should be determined by community standards.

Life in jail for not revealing identity?

mystery man arrested on minor charges more than three weeks ago remains behind bars in Utah while law enforcement officials try to determine his true identity, which he refuses to reveal.
"This is really a strange case," said Lt. Dennis Harris with the Utah County Sheriff's Office. "He just doesn't want to be found."

Now in his fourth week of incarceration, the man added another twist to the story recently by hinting he had business of some kind outside prison that he would need to attend to.
