Read more »Just when you thought the government couldn’t ruin the First Amendment any further: The House of Representatives approved a bill on Monday that outlaws protests in instances where some government officials are nearby, whether or not you even know it.
The US House of Representatives voted 388-to-3 in favor of H.R. 347 late Monday, a bill which is being dubbed the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011.

A man with a record of domestic violence was found to have violated a court order from "causing plaintiff or the child of the parties to suffer physical and/or mental abuse, harassment, annoyance or bodily injury."
The plaintiff was his estranged wife, and the violation was for a post on Facebook. The judge sentenced him to 60 days in jail and a $500 fine, but waived it if he apologized on Facebook, and left it there for 30 days.

A Muslim attacked an Atheist marching in a local Pennsylvania Halloween parade Tuesday for wearing a “Zombie Muhammad” costume.
The Muslim man stormed out of the hometown crowd in Mechanicsburg and assaulted one of the Parading Atheists of Central Pennsylvania (PACP) who happened to be wearing the offending costume. The atheist in the Zombie Muhammad costume proclaimed he was the Prophet Muhammad, risen from the dead.
