Teen tweeter won't apologize to Kan. governor

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — A Kansas teenager who wrote a disparaging tweet about Gov. Sam Brownback said Sunday that she is rejecting her high school principal's demand for a written apology.

Emma Sullivan, 18, of the Kansas City suburb of Fairway, said she isn't sorry and doesn't think such a letter would be sincere.

Leaked email to Bachmann campaign indicates decision to limit air time for certain candidates was deliberate CBS News policy.

Congressman Ron Paul was a victim of what later transpired to be a deliberate policy on behalf of CBS News to restrict the air time of certain candidates during last night’s Republican debate, after he was afforded just 90 seconds of speaking time during the course of the event in South Carolina last night.

MRCTV went down to Zuccotti Park and asked three of these questions to the protesters. The video below features their answers.

When Doyle returned with friends to shoot a sequel, the park manger quashed the production and ordered Doyle off the mountain, insisting he needed a state permit to film a movie in the park. Judge Elgan Edwards QC of Chester Crown Court sentenced 20-year-old Jordan Blackshaw and 22-year-old Perry Sutcliffe-Keenan this week to four years in prison for their failed attempts to use Facebook to incite riots in the UK. The judge said he hoped the sentences would act as a deterrent.

The Hopkinsville Police Department in southwest Kentucky is developing a habit of harassing a certain photographer who enjoys doing night street photography with a tripod.

The Renton City Prosecutor wants to send a cartoonist to jail for mocking the police department in a series of animated Internet videos. The "South-Park"-style animations parody everything from officers having sex on duty to certain personnel getting promoted without necessary qualifications. While the city wants to criminalize the cartoons, First Amendment rights advocates say the move is an "extreme abuse of power."
