The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is set to begin construction on a new high-risk bio-weapons research facility on the campus of Kansas State University in Manhattan Kansas.
The new facility will feature research on biolevel 3 and 4 viruses - some without any known cures - and other potentially dangerous materials.
The problem, critics say, is the location and the inherent seismic and weather-related disasters that could befall the facility, wreaking havoc on the surrounding population and beyond.

So for the terrible crime of drinking, a group of Australian soldiers (nicknamed diggers) are sent back to Afghanistan. In true Obama latest national defense bill style, the men 'misbehaved' in one country, and are then called to another country to defend themselves.

A computer virus has infected the cockpits of America’s Predator and Reaper drones, logging pilots’ every keystroke as they remotely fly missions over Afghanistan and other war zones.

Complaints without at least suggestions for solutions are a dime a dozen. The cartel of international bankers, weapons manufacturers, politicians, government "security" agencies and warmongering thieves is huge and imposing...how can individual citizens effect any kind of change or improvement? Last week, RAND Corp. published a study looking at homegrown jihadi terrorism. Of the 32 "plots" uncovered in the U.S. since 9/11, "only 10 developed anything resembling an operational plan that identified a specific target, developed the means of attack, and offered a sequence of steps to carry [it] out." "Of these, six were Federal Bureau of Investigation stings" involving fake bombs—"on their own, only two individuals actually attempted to build devices. One was arrested while doing so, and the other's device failed."

The move comes nearly six weeks after a group of senators -- 10 Democrats and one Republican -- asked President Barack Obama to change what they called an "insensitive" policy that dates back several administrations.

The White House is offering to keep up to 10,000 troops in Iraq next year, U.S. officials say, despite opposition from many Iraqis and key Democratic Party allies who demand that President Barack Obama bring home the American military as promised.
