At least. that's what a new lawsuit in the Sunshine State is claiming.

Last July, Leila Tarantino claims that she was pulled over by an officer with the Citrus County Sheriff's Department. In the suit, Tarantino says she came to a full stop and should have never been pulled over in the first place.

No matter how many new laws and regulations governments create, old and obsolete laws are never repealed. Over the years, this has led to an environment in which all of us are unwittingly guilty of committing multiple felonies every day. Dog owners who haven't renewed their pet's license should expect a knock on their door next week. Deputies will first check residences of dog owners who have not renewed their pet's licenses for 2012 and then conduct checks on an individual street basis. All dogs age three months or older must be licensed. Licenses must be renewed annually between the first Monday in December and January 31

A motion to dismiss charges based on the use of a Predator drone was denied Wednesday. A North Dakota court has preliminarily upheld the first-ever use of an unmanned drone to assist in the arrest of an American citizen.

Rodney Dwayne Valentine, originally landed in jail after being charged with injury to personal property. Upon release, Valentine asked officers to give him a lift to a motel nearby. When they declined, he refused to leave, according to a country sheriff’s news release. After several hours passed and Valentine still remained, Deputies suggested he take a cab, he refused. Officials gave him repeated warnings that he had to leave. At 1 p.m. deputies arrested Valentine, charged him with second degree trespassing and tossed him back in the clink.

TRAVERSE CITY, MI — Video of two northern Michigan men being subdued and arrested in a National Cherry Festival crowd by Traverse City police this week has sparked a debate about whether officers went over the line in their duties. The Traverse City Record-Eagle reports that two brothers from Garfield Township were arrested Wednesday evening, July 11, after police said one of them tried to incite a riot on the Union Street bridge downtown.
