WikiLeaks announced today it has begun publishing the Syria Files – more than two million emails from Syrian political figures, ministries and associated companies, dating from August 2006 to March 2012. WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange could not attend today’s press conference announcing the release of the data trove because he is still inside the Ecuadorean embassy in London in an attempt to avoid extradition to Sweden.

“We will be going to space at the end of this year,” Mr. Branson said in a telephone interview after the test flight over Mojave, Calif. Or, he added, possibly in the first quarter of next year. He and his children are to be passengers on that first flight.

We’ve all heard jury nullification… how about defendant nullification. In Livingston, Montana this week a judge just walked out of a courtroom while the court was in session while being heckled by an unruly crowd at the behest of the defendant, Joel Boniek. Once the judge was gone Boniek proclaimed himself in charge of the courtroom and dismissed his own case.

The Last Amendment, De-Ratification, Poll

One year after the ratification of this Amendment this Constitution and all of its Amendments shall be null and void and the Union of these States shall be dissolved. Each Sovereign State shall then be free to pursue its own destiny.

The nosy federal government ran out of luck when it selected me for demographic jury duty. Having been told I'm legally required to fill out the American Community Survey and mail it back, I'm naturally determined to defy authority. The only question is how. Green Party Presidential candidate Jill Stein and running mate Cheri Honkala were arrested Oct 16th after trying to gain access to the prsidential debates but lacking proper "credentials". They were held for 8 hours, handcuffed to a metal chair because the authorities didn't want them "wandering around." Staff with the candidates were told that they too would be arrested if they continued to wait on site for the candidate's release.
