It looks like the SPLC needs a serious reality check. Last week they added Founder and Director of the Tenth Amendment Center, Michael Boldin to their list of “Activists Heading Up the Radical Right”. It takes a unique brand of obtuse State worship to put someone who got their start in the peace movement, who is a passionate opponent of the unconstitutional War On Drugs (not exactly staples of the right wing agenda) on same list with Muslim bashing, mouth frothing, war ecstatics like Pam Geller, and Frank Gaffney.

The city of Keene, N.H., is suing “Robin Hood and his Merry Men” — a group that has made a name for itself by paying people’s parking meters before they can get slapped with a ticket from local parking enforcement officers. The Union Leader reported Tuesday that six “Robin Hooders” troll the streets of the city’s quaint downtown in search of cars parked at expired meters.

The FCC accuses Rubash of broadcasting on the 88.3 FM radio frequency, KMAN reported. The agency said Rubash was rebroadcasting programming from the Republic Broadcasting Network talk radio station.

The FCC wrote that Rubash “apparently willfully and repeatedly violated” the federal Communications Act by operating the station without a license.

A Minnesota man was arrested while recording police as they called paramedics to assist a stranger covered in blood... because the officer said it was a violation of HIPAA regulations. Cops also stole his camera... but the audio was recorded remotely via cellpone! It isn't a violation. So they charged him with "disorderly conduct" and "obstruction of legal process," whatever that is. He vows to not take a plea and will take the case to trial! Never take a plea!!!

We’ve all heard jury nullification… how about defendant nullification. In Livingston, Montana this week a judge just walked out of a courtroom while the court was in session while being heckled by an unruly crowd at the behest of the defendant, Joel Boniek. Once the judge was gone Boniek proclaimed himself in charge of the courtroom and dismissed his own case.

A jury found Ed "NJWeedman" Forchion not guilty Thursday in the Rastafarian activist's marijuana distribution case.

The decision came after Forchion was nearly held in contempt of court in the morning as he delivered his closing argument.

Forchion, formerly of Pemberton Township, tried to introduce his jury nullification argument into the closing, but was quickly stopped by Superior Court Judge Charles Delehey, who had barred any discussion of it.

Activists believe the New York Police Department (NYPD) is retaliating against Jazz for his years of videotaping unlawful police stops in Harlem, as part of his campaign to expose racism and misconduct. In December 2011, two police officers recognized Jazz, illegally searched his car, and arrested him--he was charged with two counts of felony possession of a dangerous weapon, as we've previously reported. The "dangerous weapons" were a penknife and a commemorative mini-replica baseball bat...

Internet radio host and Free State Project participant Adam Kokesh is planning an "Open Carry March" on the nation's capital, in which he plans to lead gun advocates in a march carrying loaded guns. "This is an act of civil disobedience, not a permitted event," reads the event's Facebook page. "We will march with rifles loaded & slung across our backs ... this will be a non-violent event, unless the government chooses to make it violent."

When most high school students have a problem the first thing they do is bring it to the attention of the authorities, usually a teacher. So, when things started going missing from backpacks at Linden High School in California, many students starting pointing fingers at each other. But Justine Betti had the foresight to set up a sting operation for the thief. What she discovered was shocking to many, but not to me.
