As a dog lover myself, I realize this would be a horrifying and stressful situation. But a police officer should be able to deal with it a hell of a lot better than this.

The 22-year-old Iowan was at the Sports Column watering hole early Saturday when a pair of Iowa City cops arrived to conduct a “bar check.” Officers then “made contact” with Corcoran, who “demonstrated poor coordination, repetitive speech and smelled strongly of an odor of an alcoholic beverage.” While estimating that he consumed a few beers over the previous three hours, Corcoran registered a .212 blood alcohol content when taking a post-arrest Breathalyzer test.

In the Dallas suburb of Garland, a man was killed by police who rammed his vehicle (after initially denying it) and fired 41 shots at the victim. Details are still emerging and stories changing as more details become known. It is reported that a witness recorded some of the incident via cellphone but was forced to destroy the evidence by the police.

A cop manning the 911 line got offended by a girl who called in for an ambulance for her father who recently had brain surgery and had fallen to the kitchen floor with a seizure. He hung up on her multiple times and then had her arrested when she drove to the police station for help. Her crime was using the f-word while desperately waiting for the phone to be picked up.

A three year old gets his mom in trouble with the law when he gets a ticket from police. Now the little boy's mother will have to pay thousands of dollars for what the toddler did in their own front yard.

LAPD pull over this 34 year old registered nurse and mother for talking on her cell phone and then proceed to body slam her on the ground twice. Once while she was handcuffed. These two beacons of the community then share a celebratory fist bump after they stuff their victim into the back of the squad car. A Highland County, Ohio woman reported that Greenfield Police showed up at her residence at midnight Thursday night in response to a complaint filed by a neighbor that there was a dog at that address that was suffering. The woman alleges that Patrolman Leeth, Badge #7, then proceeded to shoot the dog without provocation. Mrs. Whitley reported that the dog was resting comfortably when the officer shot once, then when she noticed that Ginger was still breathing after 10 minutes had passed, he shot her a second time, in full view of the owners.

"They had helicopters. They had people all over here, you couldn't walk the streets. They got people detained for four hours out there on the ground like we shot this police officer."

This woman, a resident of the community that was searched, was especially angered that Bullard chose to identify his fake shooter as a black male. "That's not right. It's all they do around here. A black person. Everything that happens, a black person."
