“Gun” “Control” (in a 3D printer world) | TechCrunch

http://techcrunch.com

FTA: 'If we as a country, and indeed we as a global community, are going to seriously address the question of gun control, we need to address the issue of fabricated weapons and weapon plans, or else the discussion will be moot. This is because the proliferation of 3D printed weaponry changes both the definition of “gun” and of what it means to “control” it.'

The Silent Marijuana Majority

http://www.mediaite.com

f you were to put televangelist Pat Robertson, progressive media mogul Arianna Huffington, libertarian billionaire David Koch, and rap/reggae artist Snoop Dogg in a room together, do you think you could get them all to unanimously agree on anything?

Sounds like an impossible task. But actually there is common ground: they all believe our war on marijuana has failed. All of the above public figures believe in either the decriminalization or legalization of marijuana.

Peyton Manning's Broncos Jersey Banned in Denver Schools

http://blog.syracuse.com

Students in Greeley, Colorado have been told they can't wear Peyton Manning jerseys to class because the new Denver Broncos quarterback's No. 18 has an affiliation with gangs in the area.

"They told me I couldn't wear 18 anymore because it's a gang number and I had to take it off," Konnor Vanatta, a third grader in the Weld County School System, told Fox News on Tuesday. Greeley is in Weld County, less than 50 miles from Denver.

http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com

A very large segment of the population has figured out that it can use voting as a tool to get more money and benefits from the government...the federal government has become a giant deluded "Santa Claus" that distributes goodies to the American people far beyond its actual capacity to do so. In fact, we are borrowing trillions of dollars that we do not have so that our politicians can continue to buy votes with handouts.
