In Dec 2012 a European bitcoin exchange said it had been granted "payments service provider status" by French government officials. The dark horse issue for the 2012 election cycle is Ron Paul’s influence over the delegate count for the Republican Party. Most people do not realize that the Republican primary races do not determine the nominee in the various states. Delegates are chosen after the popular election in a separate vote at a state convention by party insiders. This process is rarely reported in the main stream media.
