Presidential candidate Ron Paul swept the board at the Minnesota State convention this past weekend, winning 12 of the 13 delegates to the Republican National Convention and effectively taking complete control of the party in the state.

Congressman Paul would have won all of the open delegate slots, for the fact that the 13th went to former presidential candidate and U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, only after a Paul supporter withdrew his name from the ballot.

What's with all of this compromising with the RNC over the Tampa convention? Really? The supporters of the non-compromising Ron Paul are supposed to compromise now?

A few weeks ago, the nation learned about a 13-year-old boy, Nathan Duszynski, who was attempting to help his parents through a rough financial time. Nathan saved up his money and bought a hot dog cart. The city of Holland closed Nathan's hot dog cart ten minutes after it opened. Friday, reports confirmed Nathan and his family are now homeless.

"He said, put your hands behind your back. I said for what. Next thing you know he tackled me down on the ground," said Bratton.

The Los Angeles City Council decided unanimously on Tuesday to ban all storefront medical marijuana shops, in a blow to a industry that operates in violation of federal law but has become the largest collection of pot dispensaries in California. The 14-0 vote by the council comes after conflicting court decisions on how far local jurisdictions in California can go in cracking down on the cannabis shops. Some observers say the issue could end up before the state's Supreme Court.
