A national Amber Alert was issued Wednesday for two Tampa-area boys after they were abducted by their "anti-government" parents, deputies say. A grandmother was tied up at a Tampa home Wednesday morning and the two children in her possession were taken by their parents in what investigators are calling a parental abduction/kidnapping. The parents are considered armed and dangerous. According to investigators, the couple lost custody of the two boys after an "anti-government" rally in Louisiana. The father was charged was possession of marijuana in the presence of the children.

After receiving a verbal okay from the township allowing livestock animals such as chickens and goats she purchased a plot of land outside of the town Williamstown, MI. Read more »A North Texas woman has been arrested after being accused of posting Facebook photos of an undercover policeman who testified against her friend in court.
Mesquite police arrested Melissa Walthall, 30, for allegedly posting the photo of the officer, who authorities say recently testified in a drug case against her friend. Her Facebook post identified the person as an undercover officer, according to a federal affidavit. *She found the pics on the cops Facebook page. Wouldn't the photos be public already?*

At issue in Kirtsaeng v. John Wiley & Sons is the first-sale doctrine in copyright law, which allows you to buy and then sell things like electronics, books, artwork and furniture, as well as CDs and DVDs, without getting permission from the copyright holder of those products. Christie recently said that a bill that would require pet owners to buckle their animals into seat belts while driving is “stupid,” and that he won’t sign it. No argument here. Over the past two years, the Minnesota Department of Agriculture has illegally raided Alvin’s van, warehouse, and farm resulting in the multiple charges that were decided upon in court last week. In the Dallas suburb of Garland, a man was killed by police who rammed his vehicle (after initially denying it) and fired 41 shots at the victim. Details are still emerging and stories changing as more details become known. It is reported that a witness recorded some of the incident via cellphone but was forced to destroy the evidence by the police.

Over the past 18 months, city of Rochester employees have committed at least 119 red light violations while driving city vehicles, records show.
But while employees can be disciplined for the violation, “payment of the related fine will not be required,” according to a newly adopted city procedure for handling the violations.
