 <description>&lt;p&gt;Evidently we as a society are better off with a millionaire in prison for not paying his taxes.  Absolutely insanity.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Friday, a federal appeals court upheld the lower court decision that actor Wesley Snipes&#039; three-year prison sentence for tax evasion. The 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals upheld Snipes&#039; 2008 sentence for three misdemeanor counts of failing to file tax returns for several years.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>IRS to Track Online Sellers&#039; Payment Transactions Beginning Next Year</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Internet sellers who don&#039;t report their sales will no longer be under the radar. Starting next year, any bank or other payment settlement company that processes credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payments such as PayPal will have to issue information returns telling the IRS what merchants receive. The new returns are Form 1099-K, Merchant Card and Third-Party Payments.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Ed Brown&#039;s competency and sentencing hearing is set for Monday in U.S. District Court.&lt;/p&gt;
