Remember when Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) stood up on the Senate floor for nearly 13 hours in an ideological protest of the Obama administration’s hypothetical authority to use drone technology to kill U.S. citizens on American soil? Well, now he’s saying killing a certain U.S. citizen on some specific American soil in Watertown, Massachusetts last Friday may not have been the worst thing in the world.

Activists posing as "Citizens Against Senseless Violence," visit the homes of journalists working for Westchester Journal News, MSNBC, and the Star-Ledger. They also visited the home of Eric Holder. None will take their signs that say "THIS HOME IS PROUDLY GUN FREE."

Assemblywoman Mary Hayashi was arrested at a Neiman Marcus store after she walked out the doors with unpaid merchandise, and accused of stealing nearly $2,500 worth of clothing. The judge reduced a theft charge against her from a felony to a misdemeanor at a prosecutor’s request. (Her husband is a judge, too.) Her attorney said she was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor that contributed to the shoplifting incident.
"It's no longer affecting... her judgment", but her condition "can lead to some absentmindedness." Hayashi has no plans to resign from office.

I continue to receive defeatist attitudes about how to combat the Leviathan state. Many feel that we have a lawless political class and that there is absolutely no way to reign it in outside of complete revolution or bankruptcy. And admittedly neither are very good options, both would cause much pain to many people.

This is a dangerous meme that reflects exactly what the ruling class wants, complete disengagement from the political system by the most informed among us.
