DNA-Destroying Chip Being Embedded Into Mobile Phones

According to Dr. Boian Alexandrov at the Center for Nonlinear Studies at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, terahertz (THz) waves destroy human DNA. The waves literally unzip the helix strand. Now a team of technologists at UT Dallas are planning to take chips broadcasting THz waves and embed them into mobile phones for use as an imaging system for consumers, law enforcement and medical personnel… a potentially deadly technology that could eventually kill or sicken millions of people.

Fed Sec'y Looking Into Technology to Disable Cell Phones in Vehicles

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said using a cell phone while driving is so dangerous that devices may soon be installed in cars to forcibly stop drivers — and potentially anyone else in the vehicle — from using them... “There’s a lot of technology out there now that can disable phones and we’re looking at that.”
“Am I on a rampage,” said LaHood, who has made distracted driving a top priority of his tenure, “Yes, I am, and why shouldn’t I be?”

After California's Ban, Texting While Driving Nearly Doubles

Like many laws passed by the legislature in Sacramento, California's ban on texting while driving has been ... not so effective. The Automobile Club of Southern California on Wednesday announced that texting by Golden State drivers has nearly doubled since the rule went into effect 19 months ago. Young women (4.3 percent of them text while behind the wheel) were the worst offenders, according to the AAA.

Senators push for tracking of pre-paid cellphones

legislation that would give authorities the ability to identify the owners of pre-paid cellphones, which they say is long overdue "because for years, terrorists, drug kingpins and gang members have stayed one step ahead of the law by using prepaid phones that are hard to trace." That new tracking ability would also consequently place some new requirements on cellphone carriers and people buying the phones -- specifically, anyone buying a pre-paid cellphone would be required to present identification before buying a phone
