Read more »A new law proposed by the European Commission would make it illegal to "grow, reproduce or trade" any vegetable seeds that have not been "tested, approved and accepted" by a new EU bureaucracy named the "EU Plant Variety Agency."
It's called the Plant Reproductive Material Law, and it attempts to put the government in charge of virtually all plants and seeds. Home gardeners who grow their own plants from non-regulated seeds would be considered criminals under this law.

Uruguay has a government almost identical to our own, so I would say that the non-profit is probably publicly funded. What I think is most important in this article is that it challenges many USA Americans' ethnocentric view of education and science in the Western/Northern world versus places found in the southern hemisphere. NA Poe was released while Adam Kokesh has chosen not to reveal his address to the government for fear of his residence being raided and his belongings taken. For this reason Adam remains in federal custody. He has another hearing scheduled for Tuesday May 28th.
