We've been suspended from Twitch! :: New Radio Affiliates

April 28th, 2019 - 12:52pm by FTL_Admin in

Thursday evening I received notice from Twitch that the LRN.FM account was being suspended for "nudity". I have written to them inquiring about the alleged nudity in question and for clarification of their policy, which is not clear at all when it comes to being topless. Aria DiMezzo was topless on Tuesday night for her third episode of "Aria Uncensored". Are all topless humans prohibited from Twitch? Or is it only people "presenting" as female? If all toplessness is banned, how did we avoid being suspended during the Summer of 2018 when both Conan and I were regularly hosting shows while shirtless? For now, you can watch Free Talk Live and LRN.FM's other great live shows via our new DLive channel at http://dlive.lrn.fm . If you want to see Aria Uncensored as well as past episodes of "Freer Talk Live", please visit the LRN.FM YouTube channel . I'm uploading the "banned" episode of Aria's show and Friday night's...

New Shows on LRN.FM :: DLive

April 22nd, 2019 - 12:29am by FTL_Ian in

LRN.FM welcomes two new additions to our podcast lineup, Sherry Voluntaryist and "Postcards from Somalia". Learn more at our program guide: http://shows.lrn.fm

Also, the new LRN.FM DLive channel is on fire! We're already at over 300 followers in under two weeks' time. By comparison it took over a year to reach 700 followers on Twitch , our other main video platform. On DLive, if we have 200 followers, we can apply for "Verified Partner" status, however they prefer we have a month of broadcasts under our belt before applying, so I'm going to wait until we do. Meanwhile, the next level on DLive requires 1,000 followers, in addition to a few other requirements, so let's push for that level in our first month. At this rate, it's definitely within reach. Can you help? Please register an account on DLive and follow the LRN.FM channel there...

Keene City Gang Retaliates Against Downtown Business Owner for Speaking Against Parking Kiosks

April 16th, 2019 - 6:40pm by FTL_Ian in

As a business owner, few things are worse than having the attention of the people calling themselves “government”. Dorrie Masten, a local entrepreneur and property owner, knows this as well as anyone. As the owner of multiple properties and businesses including Keene Apartments and Pedraza’s Mexican Restaurant, Masten is no stranger to Keene’s ridiculous regulations. Unlike most business owners, she isn’t afraid to speak out publicly about how the Keene government gang has made her, her employees, and her customers’ lives more difficult.

The reason most business owners don’t speak out like Masten, is likely because they are understandably afraid they’ll be targeted for retaliation by the government people. According to a video posted to her facebook page yesterday , that’s exactly what’s happened to Masten since she publicly spoke...

"Freer Talk Live" Aftershows Now on DLive and Twitch!

April 13th, 2019 - 4:55pm by FTL_Admin in

This week we launched on yet another streaming video platform, DLive. While it doesn't really appear to be too decentralized, it has been getting a lot of attention and it is based around a cryptocurrency. Plus, with the influx of new users on the site thanks to PewDiePie's move there this weekend, it's smart for us to be there. Within just three days of broadcasting there, we've nearly hit the 200 follower count, and once we do that, the LRN.FM channel will become a "Verified Partner" on DLive. That will then allow us to pursue being a "Global Partner". Can you take a moment to create a DLive account and follow the LRN.FM channel there? It's been a pretty good experience so far. The callers have been better than the average Twitch caller, too.

Our feeds between DLive and Twitch are slightly different, Twitch...

Is DLive going to kill Twitch? We're streaming there now!

April 10th, 2019 - 8:42pm by FTL_Admin in

The media is spreading a story everywhere about YouTube streamer PewDiePie moving his live streams over to a blockchain-based, purportedly decentralized site called DLive. Thanks to the guys in our Discord server for the heads-up on the news, I was able to create an account for LRN.FM and we are already streaming LIVE on the DLive platform . If we hit 200 followers on DLive we will make it to their "Verified Partner" status. Can you give us a follow on the new LRN.FM DLive channel? Just visit http://dlive.lrn.fm/

Also, if you've had trouble watching our Twitch feed at 720p resolution, you'll have a much easier time with the 480p feed we're currently sending DLive. Some other neat things about DLive include the fact that you can tip the channel in crypto, the LINO Points that back the platform. These are purchasable with crypto, paypal...
