NH State House Examines New Voting System Proposals

February 4th, 2019 - 5:15pm by FTL_Ian in

However, now that Maine has adopted “ranked choice” voting , perhaps NH’s reps are taking the issue more seriously.

I was surprised recently to receive a call from Keene Sentinel reporter Jake Lahut asking me for my opinion on ranked choice voting for an article that appeared last week . As someone who has been a longtime libertarian, I’ve seen how the “vote for one” system we have in place hurts third parties, so I definitely support ranked choice and its competitor...

HB 567 Would Move New Hampshire into Atlantic Standard Time, Year-Round

January 27th, 2019 - 1:43pm by FTL_Ian in

Last week, liberty activists testified in Concord in favor of HB 567 which would move us to Atlantic Standard Time year-round, so long as MA and ME also do. This would end the stupid, dangerous, and annoying clock shifting we currently have to do twice a year. I’m happy to announce that all signatures on the blue sheet in the committee room were in favor of this bill!

Here’s full video of all the house testimony on the bill:

Darryl W Perry Resigns from Free Talk Live Management Role

January 22nd, 2019 - 3:26pm by FTL_Admin in

Over the years, it’s been a pleasure to see Darryl W Perry be the most dynamic of our co-hosts. On his personal journey during his time at Free Talk Live he began working out and running regularly, shedding over 150 pounds and completely changing his physical appearance. Previously sedentary, Darryl is now a marathon runner who has competed recently in the New York City Marathon among many others.

He also recently fell in love and as sometimes happens as a result, life has called him in a new direction. Today, with heavy hearts, we announce Darryl’s resignation from his role as a managing partner of Free Talk Live. Since he’s only resigned from managerial duties, Darryl may still be heard as a co-host of FTL, but he’s no longer tied down to any particular broadcast schedule.

We understand that you’ll still be able to hear Darryl on his daily newscast, “FPP Radio News” and his longform weekly podcast, “Peace, Love, Liberty Radio”, both are available to download at...
