In the Dallas suburb of Garland, a man was killed by police who rammed his vehicle (after initially denying it) and fired 41 shots at the victim. Details are still emerging and stories changing as more details become known. It is reported that a witness recorded some of the incident via cellphone but was forced to destroy the evidence by the police.

A Waterloo Iowa man is killed by police upon returning home from a night out. His wife did not appreciate the fact that he was drunk so called the police to ask him to sleep elsewhere. The couple was not engaged in a fight, she just wanted him to leave because she had to work in the morning. The encounter ended in bloodshed.
