Gary Johnson nominated by Libertarians; how un-libertarian

The Libertarian Party has done it again.

In Las Vegas this weekend, Libertarian Party national delegates nominated former New Mexico governor Gary Johnson as their representative to challenge Barack Obama for the Presidency, leaving Ron Paul as the only libertarian left in the race.

To say the least, those that truly believe in the non-aggression principle are disappointed with the third largest political party's choice to challenge the statist status quo.

Who protests for more authority?

In every instance, I side with the People on the street, even when unpopular, against the seemingly obvious shared enemy: any and all authority backed by force.

US man found guilty of abortion doctor murder

A man who said he killed a US abortion doctor in Kansas to save the lives of unborn babies has been found guilty of first-degree murder.

(Note: I'm a pro-choice libertarian; I submit this article for two reasons. First, because I support abortion rights; pro-life libertarianism is based on a superficial understanding of the NAP. Second, the convicted murderer initiated force against the doctor; the doctor had not physically assaulted him, yet the man killed the doctor.)
