Municipal Court Judge Mark Mihok charged Durrell Brooks with contempt of court Thursday and gave him three days in jail. Mihok said he saw that Brooks’ pants were down and he could see his underwear.
"I don't have a dress code," Mihok said. "People can wear really whatever they want, but they have to cover up. I can't accept people showing their underwear in a courtroom."
Brooks was the third person in a month to be sent to jail by Mihok for sagging. He said one man's pants were so low that they weren't even touching the seat when he sat down.Read more »
