But again, will we be so nonchalant if we frame this question in the light of homeland drone strikes? Will we care so little if it is our own schools and children being blown away by disconnected men hundreds or thousands of miles away?

Fijian Government Increases on Fiji Water by 4,500%

John Cochran, the president of Fiji Water, announced today that the company will be pulling its operations off of the island of Fiji if the government doesn't resolve a recent tax dispute. Cochran's main gripe is that the tax will be increased from one-third of a cent per liter to 15 cents and will be focused only at companies that produce more than 3.5 million liters per month. In other words, it only targets Fiji Water.

Supreme Court: Sex offenders can be held indefinitely

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Monday the federal government has the power to keep some sex offenders behind bars indefinitely after they have served their sentences if officials determine those inmates may prove "sexually dangerous" in the future.

You are born with inalienable rights and the American people, through the Constitution, have granted government permission to use force to protect those inalienable rights. The belief in the inalienable rights of individuals is what makes us libertarians and not conservatives or liberals. It is what differentiates us from any other political philosophy.
