I myself am a patriot and love the ideas our founding fathers set in motion but just to be clear, I do not think this cartoon respects your heart nor your freedom when it depicts a person being chastised for exercising a right even if that right is unpopular. On the ever-popular website, Reddit, I found this comic, which happens to be posted in /r/socialism. One of their redditors thought they'd post it in /r/libertarianism to "...watch the shitstorm...".

Twenty-three years ago the Chinese People's Liberation Army violently cleared Beijing's Tiananmen Square of protesters. The demonstration called for democracy and widespread political reform. The protests began in April of 1989, gaining support as initial government reactions included concessions. Martial law was declared on May 20, troops were mobilized and pushed into Tiananmen Square, crushing some protesters and firing on many others. TAMPA, Fla. — Ron Paul supporters are unhappy that Republican National Convention organizers aren’t letting them throw a festival honoring the Texas congressman and presidential candidate the weekend before the gathering.
Spokesman Bryan Siemon said his group is organizing a three-day “PaulFest” at the Florida State Fairgrounds that would include music, comedians and speakers.
