A New Hampshire woman has called the cops on the Salvation Army.

Her complaint? Loud bell-ringing. "My customers complain about it," she tells ABC News. "They ask me how I possibly can stand it." In fact, she cannot. She has to wear ear plugs in the store to keep her sanity, but even those can't keep out the noise of the four people outside, standing alongside one of the Army's signature red pots, lustily clanging away.

"An Army reservist who took the stage at a political event for Ron Paul and expressed his support for the Republican presidential candidate could face legal troubles, the military said Thursday."

I'm not sure how to find the videos and pictures now, but I recall seeing in-uniform military members on the stage with John McCain in 2007 and various military members peppering political news coverage since, endorsing various candidates other than Ron Paul.

Drones That Never Forget a Face (Tagging, Tracking, and Locating)

"Perhaps the idea of spy drones already makes your nervous. Maybe you’re uncomfortable with the notion of an unblinking, robotic eye in the sky that can watch your every move. If so, you may want to click away now. Because if the Army has its way, drones won’t just be able to look at what you do. They’ll be able to recognize your face — and track you, based on how you look. If the military machines assemble enough information, they might just be able to peer into your heart."
