How Should I Mess With The Census Bureau's American Community Survey?

The nosy federal government ran out of luck when it selected me for demographic jury duty. Having been told I'm legally required to fill out the American Community Survey and mail it back, I'm naturally determined to defy authority. The only question is how. After getting the ACS in the mail, this guy calls the Dept. of Commerce to tell him he won't fill it out. They threaten him with a $5000 fine. Instead, he puts the entire 28 page document online. If you were ever curious what's in this thing, here you go.

The UK Government is considering ABOLISHING the census after next year's. They'll still get the info from existing databases (and we have a loooot of those), but there will be no central method for government to force large amounts of information out of people by intimidation.

census workers — from the head of the Bureau and the Secretary of Commerce (its parent agency) down to the lowliest and newest Census employee — are empowered under federal law to actually demand access to any apartment or any other type of home or room that is rented out, in order to count persons in the abode and for “the collection of statistics.” If the landlord of such apartment or other leased premises refuses to grant the government worker access to your living quarters, whether you are present or not, the landlord can be fined $500.00.
