SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Young voters helped pass laws legalizing marijuana in Washington and Colorado, but many still won't be able to light up. Most universities have codes of conduct banning marijuana use, and they get millions of dollars in funding from the federal government, which still considers pot illegal. Chinemerem Eze, a Nigerian student at Brooklyn College, complained to her college about secret surveillance in December 2008, according to a lawsuit she’s filed in New York Supreme Court. Yes, there was indeed a camera in her bedroom.
She’s suing the security officers, psychologist, and the government-managed school for negligence. She’s already settled with the government-managed hospital.
