A student in Tel Aviv parked her car on Sunday in a legal, unmarked space. But when Hila Ben Baruch returned, her car was gone, and her spot was marked with a handicapped symbol. In disbelief, Ben Baruch did some amateur sleuthing, recovering security footage from a camera mounted on the building across the street. The now-viral video, which Ben Baruch posted on her Facebook page, shows city workers painting lines around her parked car, towing it away and then painting a handicapped symbol in the empty spot.Read more »
A former LAPD officer was suspected early Thursday morning of shooting another officer to death overnight and wounding two others even as authorities hunted for him in connection with an earlier double-homicide, CBS News correspondent Bill Whitaker reports. According to documents from a court of appeals hearing in October 2011, Dorner was fired from the LAPD after he made a complaint against his field training officer, Sgt. Teresa Evans. Dorner said that in the course of an arrest, Evans kicked suspect Christopher Gettler, a schizophrenic with severe dementia.Read more »
Christopher Dorner, a LAPD officer who was fired for making "false statements" about a brutal police beating, has gone on a mission of revenge to take out all officers involved as well as their families. He has so far killed three officers as well as the daughter of another. There is a massive manhunt for him that resulted in the police shooting of two women who were delivering newspapers using a truck similar to the one owned by Officer Dorner. His manifesto describes heinous police corruption.Read more »
Misrepresentation, deception, and outright lying appear to be part of a police officer’s job description, so much so that the term “testilying,” now common vernacular for police falsifications, was actually coined by NYPD officers as something of an inside joke.Read more »

The Military is Big Government Too, “Defense” Prepares for Deep Cuts, It’s About Time

The city of Chicago is asking a judge to erase a landmark verdict that found there exists a code of silence in the police department that leads officers to protect rogue colleagues — a legal move that critics say is calculated to deny others suing over alleged police abuse from citing the decision as a precedent.
City officials are seeking to pay Karolina Obrycka $850,000 if a federal judge will overturn last month's jury verdict. (So, of course Karolina is wants the verdict vacated too - very clever)Read more »
Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and the entire government resigned Monday in a surprise move after controversial elections as the economy teeters on the brink of recession. It remained unclear who would fill the powerful post of premier, with some analysts speculating it could go to a member of the elite close to Yanukovych known as the "Family".Read more »
While Gregory Sciance was locked inside the Hamilton County Jail for a probation violation, Sgt. Wanda Smith was out buying groceries with his food stamps. Now that Sciance is free from jail, the only place he can afford to eat is at the community soup kitchen.Read more »
Government corruption at its worst. This person should spend the time behind bars that the convicts convicted by her lies and corruption have spent so far. Of course chances are that she'll be given a relative slap on the wrist compared to the time that others have been sentenced for non-violent behavior while she's trying to make money off of lies, and caging peoples bodies.Read more »
