How the FED Steals for the 1%

It is ironic that Occupy Wall Street is reportedly very low on cash. This is something that Wall Street itself never has to worry about. They have ready access at all times to as much cash as they need. The Occupiers mistakenly blame capitalism, but it is not capitalism that is behind this inequity. It is the completely anti-capitalist Federal Reserve System.

Ventura District Attorney wages campaign against raw milk farmers

Upon appearing, for a scheduled preliminary hearing regarding charges brought against them by Los Angeles County, James Stewart and Sharon Palmer were ambushed by officials from Ventura County who engaged in "public theater". They slapped them in handcuffs, marched them out of court, and then proceeded to lose them in Ventura County jail where they disappeared for five days. Euphemistically titled the "Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act" and referred to by our corporate-controlled mainstream media as a "non-controversial bill", a more truthful moniker for HR 347 would be the "First Amendment Rights Eradication Act".

Phoenix P.D. Overcharges Taxpayers $160k for Occupy Protests

Out of all of the cities with Occupy movements, the cost per arrest in Phoenix was the highest - taxpayers spent $4,430 per. If this math is correct, each officer got around $8,000 in overtime for 72 hours of police work to protect the city from just 40 protestors. Who does this benefit? Not Phoenicians. Additional coverage at the San Francisco Chronicle here:
