A St. Petersburg, FL police officer was speeding 21 MPH over the limit, hit an old man in a wheelchair. He killed the man and was fired. Now, if anyone else did that, they'd be put in a cage. After a year off the job, he was given his job back WITH the year of back pay while he off! What a bunch of crap!

A former LAPD officer was suspected early Thursday morning of shooting another officer to death overnight and wounding two others even as authorities hunted for him in connection with an earlier double-homicide, CBS News correspondent Bill Whitaker reports. According to documents from a court of appeals hearing in October 2011, Dorner was fired from the LAPD after he made a complaint against his field training officer, Sgt. Teresa Evans. He was convicted of 8 murders without any technical evidence whatsoever. He was often led by interrogators to give "correct" answers about details in the murders so that he eventually got "close enough" for conviction. A North Georgia man is charged with murder after authorities say he put vodka in his 4-month-old's baby bottle, leading to her death -- an incident that his public defender says was an accident. The infant girl died June 8, 2011, after she drank the vodka.
