Get atlas shrugged on audiobook. It took me a couple of weeks to get through it, but it was great. I don't think it would've been possible for me to read that thing as I'm a slow reader. I'll probably re-listen to it sometime this Spring/Summer.

It's long - took me a few months to finish it, since I usually only listen for 30-40 min at the gym. Still, I think it may be my favorite book now.

I started reading Atlas Shrugged last year, and just finished part 1. Its an amazing book and I could say if I read this book first out of all the Ayn Rand books I've read, I'd be lost. Theres so much thought in every conversation that I have to take my time to fully absorb it. I love the characters, especially the protagonists because I idealize their traits.

The Mises.org Institute also had an article commemorating the 50th Anniversary of _Atlas Shrugged_: http://mises.org/daily/3883 I've tried, but never was able to read it. I've read the Odyssey, the Illiad, Lord of the Rings and Silmarilian, even Focault's Pendulum (that was _hard_), but A.S. defeats me. Maybe when I'm older, and wiser...
