Rand Paul endorses Mitt Romney (Hannity, 6/7/12)
way to SELL OUT
This makes me want to throw up. Politics at it's worst.
Relax, check his votes to see if he's a sellout not whether he pays lip service to R-money on Hannity. He's very choosy with his words and is merely playing the game to keep his name in good grace with the right wing media for when he runs in '16. He's actually playing them and they don't even know it. Who that likes Ron is gonna vote for R-money because Rand is supporting him? nada
Rand voted for sanctions on Iran. This is the opposite of libertarianism.
If the bloodthirsty neocons (dems too) can be appeased with sanctions instead of war, I'll take it. Not to mention, Rand is basically Ron 95%+ of the time. Think about it in terms of the NHLA, they have their A+ list and on down the line. Maybe just a few of the endorsees are perfect yet over 100 more are decent reps yet you gotta vote for them because there is no one better in the respective district. The Senate, being a statewide race, is a tough election to win. Having a libertarian in there is unheard of until recent times. If he runs for prez, I'd back him just as I did Ron. I understand all of the concerns of some Paul supporters feeling sold out, but it comes as a knee jerk reaction that when all is said and done, some will feel silly about it. The bottom line is, using politics to further principle is no vice but sacrificing principle for politics is no virtue. In virtually every case, Rand's votes line up with the Constitution.
This is big news and less than 2 minutes was spent talking about on the program?!
