We recently announced the various ways we're decentralizing and cutting reliance on Big Tech. We launched our own social network last month. Our video archives are on the uncensorable LBRY. We launched our own federated, self-hosted, open source Matrix chat server, and more is to come.
We're even experimenting with peer-to-peer video streaming but it's not-quite-ready for primetime. Meanwhile, thanks to a tool called "Mobcrush", we are now to get around the pain-in-the ass hoops that YouTube and Facebook have placed in front of regular live streamers like us. As of tonight we are going to be streaming video not only on DLive and Twitch as normal, but also we're returning to YouTube and Facebook. At least until they ban us or break the linkage to Mobcrush. Each description of our streams on those Big Tech giants clearly points the way to find our decentralized social and chat options, as does the updated overlay graphic seen during our streams on-screen. Until they pull-the-plug, we can use the mega platforms to convince more of their users to leave and follow us on platforms that we control, instead of Big Tech.
Plus, all our video streams will now be in HD. We're also adding more video streaming platforms. If you've been following us on our new Mastodon at social.freetalklive.com, you've already seen a couple of announcements about the new places you can watch Free Talk Live. We're going to be reaching more eyes and ears than ever before in 2021.
If you want to help spread Free Talk Live, please AMP the show for as little as $5 a month. Thank you for listening to and supporting Free Talk Live.
