Mark and his family are renting a nice place in Acapulco for the month and encouraged me to come out for longer than just the Anarchapulco conference coming up next week. They are renting a six bedroom, five bath place with this view for $1,100 a month (plus the power bill and any services like cleaning lady). Pretty sweet deal. Tune in live via our audio streams only as we don't have video streaming here. We are still able to take Discord calls along with regular calls.
Good news! Liberty Bits is back on YouTube with fresh video clips from Free Talk Live! If you've been wanting to share FTL with your friends and social media, these shorter clips of the show are much more shareable than a full three-hour video archive. Check out the new clips available starting now at http://clips.freetalklive.com and be sure to hit the subscribe button to continue seeing the new clips as they're uploaded to the channel. Please share!
Also, FTL welcomes more new radio affiliates including KBFS-AM in Belle Fourche, SD and KYDT-FM in Pine Haven, WY as a new Saturday night simulcast. Also our longtime AM affiliate in Greeneville, TN, WGRV, has added an FM translator. You can get our full affiliate list of over 190 radio stations here .
Sadly, due to major life changes since he recently fell in love , Darryl W Perry of FPP Radio News has decided to put his newscast on hiatus. As soon as he's back at it, his content will return to the air at LRN.FM (and the FTL streams). I wish Darryl the best and thank him for his dedicated service to liberty, having produced a newscast seven-days-a-week for several years virtually without interruption. It was a monumental task.
Over the years, it’s been a pleasure to see Darryl W Perry be the most dynamic of our co-hosts. On his personal journey during his time at Free Talk Live he began working out and running regularly, shedding over 150 pounds and completely changing his physical appearance. Previously sedentary, Darryl is now a marathon runner who has competed recently in the New York City Marathon among many others.
He also recently fell in love and as sometimes happens as a result, life has called him in a new direction. Today, with heavy hearts, we announce Darryl’s resignation from his role as a managing partner of Free Talk Live. Since he’s only resigned from managerial duties, Darryl may still be heard as a co-host of FTL, but he’s no longer tied down to any particular broadcast schedule.
We understand that you’ll still be able to hear Darryl on his daily newscast, “FPP Radio News” and his longform weekly podcast, “Peace, Love, Liberty Radio”, both are available to download at...
Huge news! Free Talk Live is now on-air in the belly of the beast - Washington DC for the first time ever. We started last Saturday on the brand-new " WONK-FM ", from 9p-1a. We're actually on two frequencies, 104.7 on FM, and 101.1 on HD2. If you're in the heart of the city, check us out. I wonder who else will be listening? You can see our full affiliate list here .
In LRN.FM news, "The Liberty Beat" has returned to our top-of-the-hour news rotation on LRN.FM and the FTL 24/7 streams! Hosted by Nick Murrow, this activist-produced newscast was previously on LRN until they went on hiatus. It's great to have them back. You can see the full LRN.FM schedule here .
Are you following LRN.FM's or Free Talk Live's social media accounts? LRN.FM's accounts have posts from multiple hosts while FTL's accounts are just for Free Talk Live....
It's been a record-setting week for Free Talk Live in the area of existing affiliates expanding their carriage of our show. We had several stations expand this week to carry our weekday show including WGOW-FM in Chattanooga, TN, KHMO-AM in Hannibal, MO, KBKW-AM/FM/HD4 in Aberdeen, WA, and WTTB-AM/FM in Vero Beach, FL! The all-of-a-sudden changes came after our competitor, the awful Michael Savage, dropped his show from two hours live per day to one. As a result, we also got a brand new affiliate, KSRM-AM in Kenai, AK onboard for weeknights! To see full affiliate details, check out the list here .
Last year in January after Youtube temp-banned the LRN.FM streaming channel over some unexplained violation of their "community standards", we branched out in a different direction. We launched our video streaming on Twitch - the video game streaming platform. It has turned out to be a great platform for live video and allowed us to bring Call to Freedom and Questioning Authority - the other two Keene-based shows on LRN.FM - into the channel. One year later the LRN.FM Twitch channel now has over 600 followers and approximately 60 subscribers! To show our appreciation and to help grow our presence on the platform, we launched our Twitch-only aftershows which have been a lot of fun and hopefully have brought us new viewers from the general Twitch audience, which will introduce some of them to the ideas of liberty.
Are you like us and have no plans for New Year's? Join "Freer Talk Live" exclusively on our Twitch feed after our radio show ends at 10pm Eastern this Monday December 31st through to 2019 and celebrate another year closer to the death of the sun! Here's a handy event from Twitch to remind you of when to tune in.
Welcome back to our former affilaite in the US Virgin Islands, WVWI-AM in Charlotte Amalie. WVWI was on with us years ago just on weekends, but now they're live with us all three hours per night every weeknight. Their signal even reaches into Puerto Rico! You can see our full list of over 190 radio affiliates here .
As you know, the AMP program was designed to allow you to directly support our efforts to Advertise, Market, and Promote Free Talk Live. AMP helps us get on more radio stations as well as bring new internet listeners onboard. For a long time, we've offered multiple ways to AMP, including credit card, PayPal, and Bitcoin (BTC). Now I'm happy to announce that we can do automatic deductions directly from your bank account! It's called eCheck and it actually costs us a lot less in fees than a credit card or PayPal transaction.
If you'd like to AMP the show with eCheck, please get in touch with me directly via email: ian at freetalklive.com and I'll get you set up.
