The state of New Jersey has separated a healthy newborn baby (now aged 3) from her mother because the mother refused to pre-consent to a C-section that no doctor decided was necessary. Now, after three years of court battles, the state decided that the child's welfare was never in danger. A US consumer advocacy group has filed a lawsuit against McDonald’s, accusing the fast-food chain of using deceptive advertising practices to lure children to the company’s restaurants.
