Libertarians are often marginalized, typically by the right, for wanting to legalize drugs. ”Whaddya wanna have HEROIN in vending machines!?!”, as some have ridiculously asked.
And while it’s true that Libertarians don’t support government action for dealing with a drug problem, it isn’t usually true that we think that people should use HARD drugs.

Well, the cops were sad that they didn't get their way recently. After attempting to extort money from some of the bartenders at Shenanigan's, and failing (see http://www.freetalklive.com/content/judge_barnak_under_fire_mpd_throwing...), the cops cried and another state agency imposed "restrictions" on the bar. Well, way to punish a business for being good at what they do. My take: the reason that there are problems at the bar is because it's the only decent place to go in this town.Read more »

The teen says that officer was barefoot and only wearing a bathing suit as the man barged through and broke his family's front door. Pifer says the officer assaulted him and threatened his sister until a neighbor stepped in to help.
The neighbor asked the officer what triggered the chase as she bandaged his bleeding hand.
